The Elephant Tour and Travel Agency (ETTA) is an Ethiopian privately owned company, under the Awash Falls Lodge PLC, established in 2008 under the leadership of Dr. Yirmed Demeke. We are licensed under Commercial Registration and Business License Proclamation No. 67/1997 and Federal Regulation No. 13/1997 with VAT 28498 with Business License 14/666/57282/2004 and VAT No. 171808002. Since its inception in the tourism sector as tour and travel specialty, it has devoted to serving the development of tourism for the benefit of both visitors and hosts.
The name ETTA is a lifetime commemoration originates from the life experience of Dr. Yirmed Demeke Workneh /Zoologist/, who spent with the African elephants both in Mago, Omo and Kafta-Sheraro National Parks and Babille Elephant Sanctuary for more than 15 years. During his stays in wildlife areas, he published the bird checklists for Mago National Park, Senkelle Swayne's Hartebeest Sanctuary, Southwestern Forest Birds, Kafta-Sheraro National Park, Awash and Allideghe National Parks, and recently Abay Valley-Dejen Birds.
We would love to organize tours to Chebera-Churchura National Park, the most accessible elephant areas in the country. We offer our clients customized domestic tour packages that are designed according to the requirement and budget of the traveler on a much satisfactory basis. We also advise visa obtaining processes, car rental, and hotel booking services to our esteemed clients.
